Love has far reaching arms, to caress and hold.
Hearts that beat as one, to know never told.
As love will ensure, the future unfolds.
Share special times, united love makes bold.
Poetry a form, of communication and hope.
When you’re alone, makes easier to cope.
Like two hearts entwined-sturdy ropes.
Happiness inside, under winter coats.
Friendship starts, along a journey in time.
Walk a chartered road, looking for a sign.
Travel…a journey without straight lines.
Wait at crossroads, plead all will be fine.
Look towards the future, waiting for the day.
Returns to rightful place, prepared to say.
United remains, those travelled so far away.
Sharing life together, as only lovers may.
